Eric Lawson is the most popular personality linked to Marlboro ad campaign, Explore Talent reported. Due to cigarette smoking, the commercial model/actor died at the age of 72. He survived his wife, 6 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The model died from Respiratory Failure due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The disease is absolutely smoking-related due to the fact that Lawson had a history of smoking addiction. The model/actor started smoking at the age of 14.
Although Lawson found it hard to stop smoking, he wanted to help himself as well as others suffering from the addiction. Being a spokesperson, he want to raise awareness in order for individuals to quit smoking problem.
Lawson is not only a model, but an actor. Through joining acting auditions, he got acting jobs. He ventures into acting as he got roles in “Dynasty” and also “Beretta”.
